Grant requirements:

Grants are limited to organizations in the United States with qualified 501(c)3 status or who have a  fiscal sponsor in the United States with a qualified 501(c)3 status.

Grants for the current fiscal year will be accepted from January 1 through February 28, and applicants will be notified by April 15 whether they receive a grant or not. Grant recipients will be recognized at the Annual Meeting of the AHEI/ AMA Alliance.

Organizations may request up to $2500 in funding for each project. AHEI reserves the right to award partial funding for any project selected. AHEI will not fund the same project from the same organization two consecutive years.

AHEI must be recognized as a supporter of the project, in a verbal presentation at the time of the project and in any written materials printed for the project. Every attempt should be made to include AHEI in social media outreach, promotional activities, and marketing materials.

Grant recipients agree to give permission to the Alliance Health Education Initiative to publish information and photographs (if applicable) on their website and in AHEI and AMA Alliance publications.

A written report must be submitted to AHEI within 60 days of project completion. Any unused funds must be returned to AHEI within 60 days of project completion. Should the organization be unable to complete the project within a year, AHEI must be notified to discuss all options. Failure to submit a project completion report may disqualify an organization from receiving consideration for a future grant.
